The company Innowep GmbH measuring and testing is specialized
in the field of material surfaces, functional and environmental tests.
The main attention are the task areas: haptics, assessment of the
surface structure characteristics, surface texture, micro wear, micro
tribology, micro abrasion, scratch resistance, topography, micro
hardness, damping, softness and chemo-mechanical abrasion.
The company sells the devices, offers measuring services in its
own application laboratory and participates as a competent partner
in national and international development projects.
In the field of biomedical sciences / bioinformatics mainly the
following devices are used:
Universal Surface Tester UST®
Universal testing unit for the continuous micro mechanical
characterization of material and functional properties on flat
and structured surfaces.
UST enables objective statements about diverse material
characteristics, e.g.: haptics, micro abrasion, scratch resistance,
wear behaviour, micro tribology, elasticity & plasticity, damping,
softness, micro hardness, roughness and micro friction.
OptoTop
Optical surface measuring system for quick and contactless
measurement of topography and geometry (micro and macro
geometry) through laser triangulation.
OptoTop gives information about optical roughness of flat,
structured and curved surfaces. Besides, one can determine
geometries, which can be displayed three-dimensional and
with which one is able to find structural defects.
